They can be quite useful, powerful, strange, silly, or all of the above. The goal was to try and make unique crossbows that are more than just statistical upgrades while also attempting to still fit in with the art style and general game design of Minecraft. The Moar Crossbows datapack adds a bunch of new crossbow types to the game.
